Cyanotype Cover Making Workshop with Studio Sunprint

Balqis from @studiosunprint will teach the basics of cyanotype or sunprint, a photographic print technique using found objects or film transparency that are exposed to sunlight. Using everyday items such as floral specimens & combined with cyanotype chemistry to make light sensitive papers, the process produces an elegant cyan-white image upon exposure to UV light. You will learn from preparing materials to creating your own unique prints. Inspired by the natural growth and resilience of moss, we will explore how creativity can flourish in unexpected places. This workshop encourages participants to embrace their artistic growth, experiment with natural elements, and create beautiful cyanotype prints to be turned into a Mossery book cover.
